Little Giant is a neighborhood restaurant located in Portland, Maine’s West End with a focus on great food and friendly service. 

I worked with Little Giant to create a loose aesthetic relying heavily on hand-drawn/painted elements and supported by simple typography. Taking design cues from the quality and simplicity of the 1950's-70's, I wanted Little Giant to have a homey, vintage feel without placing it in any one decade.

Illustrator Tait Hawes created watercolor paintings loosely based on the restaurant owners' family photos.
