Chris and Travis of de la boue wines wanted a label with an organic, yet high-end feel. Utilizing illustrations from Gretchen Anders, I created designs that maintain a physical connection with the “hands in the mud / bare feet in the grapes” feeling of the in-person winery and allow for a range of commercial end-points. Each varietal shows the slope, drawn in charcoal, where the grapes are grown.
